I have a one dog now. He’s a senior dog I adopted when he was 11 and we’ve spent the last year and half attached at the hip as much as allowed by societal rules. I know we need rules. It’s protecting animals and people alike, but there are some rules that need to be modified or added as times change. This is where I hope to come in. Where Coco, my beautiful, loving, yet cranky long haired Chihuahua, wants to come in. He is my designated emotional support dog, which offers me some financial reductions in pet fees and flying, but nothing of a support animal. Other people who need their pets and rely on them for daily support need protections as well.
